We admitted and accepted there are things we can’t change at present, and attempts to change these things causes unmanageability in our lives.

We came to believe we could find serenity if we asked for help.

We asked for help, and accepted some help.

We reviewed our life stories courageously.

We shared our life story with someone with whom we had developed a safe, loving and caring connection.

We shared our life story with someone with whom we had developed a safe, loving and caring connection. We decided we would change our character aspects disrupting our serenity henceforth.

We asked for help to change these character aspects.

We reviewed our life story for our responsibility for harm and unkindnesses to ourselves and others, and became willing to make amends.

We made direct amends to ourselves and others, except when it would cause more harm

We regularly reviewed our lives, celebrated our progress and promptly amended where needed.

We continued to progress, trying to improve our conscious contact with ourselves and those we love.

We were awakened by this experience, applied our learnings in all facets of our lives, and shared our understandings with whomever wanted it.
